Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Viceregal Lodge

Scandal Point
Scandal point is where the Mall road joins Ridge road on the west side. The name arose from the commotion caused by the supposed elopement of a British lady with an Indian Maharaja. The story goes that the Maharaja of Patiala had eloped with the daughter of the British Viceroy.

Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex Shimla
Gaiety Theatre was opened on 30 May 1887, is an example of the Gothic Revival style of architecture, derived from British Victorian examples. It was once part of the large Town Hall Complex. which opened in the newly constructed Town Hall which was Queen Victoria’s Jubilee Year. The first recorded performance had coincided with her coronation. In the European tradition, this would make the Shimla Amateur Dramatic Club one of the oldest in the country. Mall Road

Lakkar Bazaar is a marketplace adjoining the Ridge in Shimla, India. Shops offer wooden articles targeted mainly at tourists. There is also a roller skating rink in Lakkar Bazaar. The state hospital known as Indira Gandhi Medical College and hospital is also adjoining to Lakkar Bazaar.
